Barnaby graduated from the Mackintosh School of Architecture in 1992 with an honours degree in architecture. In 1993 he joined the Australian firm of Kerry Hill Architects in Singapore. Kerry Hill Architect is a recent recipient of the RAIA Gold Medal and his companies work has been published regulary and awarded globally.
While in Singapore he worked on a number of
hospitality and residential projects in Asia
and Australia. In 1995 he joined Terry Fripp
Design working on several resort and residential
projects. Some of the work was in association with Paul Rudolph one of North Americas leading
modern architects.
In 1999 he moved to Melbourne where he worked
on a range of projects; residential, institutional,
commercial and industrial before forming Chiverton Design in 2001. In 2008 the company name was changed to Chiverton Architects
